Cannot say enough of how much I love this series. This is the third installment of Elena and Raphael's romance. Elena and Raphael have just come back from their angel refuge when strange things start happening. Vampires with sudden blood lust, earthquakes, tsunamis around the world. Only one explanation, an archangel who was in Sleep has decided to rise. Could it be Caliene, Raphael's insane mother? Eleana's got her mother-in-law's scent and she is on the hunt. Now if she can figure out a way to let go of the hurt and nightmares of her past and forgive her own mother. Oh yes and wrap her Archangel up in cotton wool, as it seems that mummy is a bit upset at her Ralphie for taking a weak mortal for a consort. These humans are so very fragile, no? Or course she doesn't know of Elena's strong heart and mad love that Elena has for her son and just want lengths Elena will go to in order to protect the love of her life. If you haven't read this series I urge you to run to the nearest store and pick the first one up. But be warned there is some kind of drug woven in the pages that you will want to read the entire series in one sitting. Must resist picking up Dmitri's story...for now. :-)
