This felt like a cross (writing-wise) of Diablo Cody's 'Candy Girl' and (content-wise) Elizabeth Wurtzel's 'Prozac Nation'. The author seems to be lacking solid reasons for her drunken childhood and overall wasn't very eye opening. She seemed too much of a spoiled rich girl who invented her problems. It's been a while since I read this, so if she disclosed some big dark secret, forgive my insensitivity.
