Wow. don't think I've ever read such an action-packed book. Seriously, by chapter five I just wanted these kids to have a break and take a nap. Fun story, interesting ideas, totally exciting. I will read more of these when they come out. My only downside was that why oh why couldn't Cyrus actually be a more believable age? He acts like a much older teenager and I think it is doing readers (especially young boys) an enormous disservice to give 12 year-olds so much responsibility and then stretch my belief so much when they act interested in girls, incredibly brave, super knowledgeable, and otherwise far too mature. Better to bump up the age or tone down the exploits (especially the female ones),

Sarah I thought the same thing! All the way through the book I had to keep reminding myself that Cyrus was only twelve, he acted so much older. Antigone seemed older than thirteen as well.
