The Quiet Book by Deborah Underwood is a book that shows and tells about all the different situations where you are quiet. To me this book would be appropriate for a very young child. I thought that many of the examples that were given were funny and creative. These cute examples, along with illustrations to describe each one, made this book one that I think a young child would enjoy. From our Tiny Ethnography project, we learned that children ages 1-5 enjoy reading books that are somewhat repetitive. Since this book has that repetitive characteristic, I think that young children would find it fun to read.
