i first read this book in 3rd grade, after seeing the movie, i think this was when i learned that the book is always better than the movie made out of it, even tho i liked the movie it was only the 1st tiny bit of the book, and i never saw any of the follow up movies cuz i didn't want to ruin it. i've read it a few times since, tho not in many years.
