it was amazing

I came upon it in my grandmother's library when I was a kid. Read it furtively, convinced it was dangerous stuff. Read it compulsively, swept away.

Ruth No Sherry. I had no idea. I'll take a look, though I seem to have outgrown my taste for fantasy.

David Stuff that adults think is inappropriate for children is often the best stuff for children.

The more old-fashioned, the better, too, sez I.
