This is a book that is very wordy for preschool children, however; the words were simple enough for them to fully grasp what was going on in the story. I think this book can be considred predictable of what will happen next. The pictures in the book were not colorful at all but they were stilll very detailed.

Learning activity:

I will bring in sveral packs of blueberries to the class, a spinner with numbers on it and some small cups. I will give each child a handful of blueberries and a cup. In a small group, each child will take a turn spinning the spin wheel. Whichever number the spinner lands on, that child will have to put that many blueberries in his cup. When the game is over the children will eat the blueberries.
