An intriguing story of a possible prince. This excellent historical mystery revolves around a mild-mannered doctor who gets drawn into a world of intrigue and danger by a famous Parisian detective. The fascinating Holmes-y Vidocq believes the doctor may know something about the death of the heir to the French throne. The action all takes place in the aftermath of the French Revolution, when the monarchy has been restored, but question remain about the fate of the son of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. The characters were vividly drawn, with authentic voices and motivations that keep you turning pages.
