This was a book given to me by a co-worker who always reads Danielle Steele. I needed a book to read to occupy my time, and since the other few I have read from her were decent for their genre, this was a safe bet. Like the others it was an easy read, but I ended up really enjoying it more than any of the others. I actually was very drawn to the characters and plot and continued reading until I finished the whole book in 1 day.

The book is about a woman who does not fit in with her family and her surroundings, and when an event occurs that force her to abandon the comforts of her normal, isolated life, her character grows and transforms, repairing her relationships and confronting her fears. This a typical Danielle Steele novel and if you are in a need for a novel that's simple, easy and has a happy ending, this is your book.
