I've always loved John Lennon, since I was a kid, and that love has taken different forms over the last 40 years. I think Yoko is mistaken when she says the author "was mean to John". The multitudes of us who love and respect him know his faults and his genius, his altruism and love of mankind. This book is amazingly informative and honest and will only add to that respect and love for any fan, whatever their level of enthusiasm.

VERY long, but also fun to read, not a chore at all. I'm not really reading it cover to cover, but skipping around, then going back to where I left off earlier. Best bio of a Beatle yet.
