I received this story by ebook and was amazed at the writing of Ms. Davis. The characters were well described and the story line was so well written. I understood the reasons behind everything that was going on. Talia’s parents were murdered right in front of her when she was young. She went to live with her father’s friend, Mac and his family. She had special talents as well as others because of what had happened with the world. Talia, Donavon, and Erik together made this so exciting with the struggles of their feelings and power. Talia was sent on a solo mission that only she could do. Could she do what she had been trained for and make it out alive? This was a very intense book. I was on the edge of my seat and wanted so much more when the ending hit. I can’t wait for the next book.
