Devastating. This really does feel like a descent into hell but it's well worth reading. It tackles some really, really ugly stuff and doesn't shirk from any of it.

Julia Brown I want to hear what you think about this. I made the mistake of seeing the movie first, and was underwhelmed. I hope the book is better.

Debs Thus far, it's pretty honest and subtle so I'm liking it. :)

Debs I'm not finished yet, but I'm giving it the thumbs up - even without seeing the movie, I can say with certainty that this is better. It's pretty devastating :(
