So, this totally reminded me of one of my friends. The main character was almost exactly like her--the bird, the anti-religion, her "I don't want to get married" attitude...I guess that does make this a little "Asian" stereotypical. Nevertheless, it made me laugh out loud. The inclusion of the serial killer friend was a little random to me, but I suppose it would have been a little cliche and monotonous if it was just about the character wanting to "de-virginize" herself and avoid an arranged marriage to Asian men her parents picked out for her. Would I read it again? Perhaps. Maybe if I was in need of a laugh and a way to procrastinate for an hour or two. Yes, I finished the entire thing in two hours--I am a little bit of a speed reader, so that may not be typical for most readers.
