really liked it
bookshelves: for-me

This book was an incredible page turner!! It had you guessing guilt or innocence until the disturbing conclusion. I appreciated the unpredictability of this book very much, but felt that the strong language could have been tapered back quite a bit. I learned a lot about the judicial system through this book and I think it is uncommon to close the cover on a fiction book and actually feel like you learned something valuable. The courtroom testimony lasted a little longer than I would have liked, but the author probably had his reasons for dragging it out. Definitely worth reading if you can get past the language.
