Read from February 18 to 24, 2012

I was engrossed with the Rolling Stone article, and this book also delivers. Think of it as an expanded continuation of The Runaway General. I couldn't put it down. Hastings is an excellent story teller and journalist who finds a way to weave himself into the piece without making it about himself. I think this book will survive as one of the great works on the Afghan war.
