It's hard to say if I really like this book or not. At it's core it's about a money-hungry sex addict who uses women...so I feel badly saying that I liked it, but I kind of did. I love classic literature, so that was enjoyable. Being a hopeless romantic, however, I was deeply burdened by his utterly unwholesome choices. But then I had to remind myself that this did take place in Paris.
