Love, love, love this book. Elissa Schappell does an excellent job of creating female characters, whether they're in their teens or have already reached womanhood, of exploring the uncertainty, pain, awkwardness, fear, love and lust in their lives that readers (especially female readers) can sympathize and relate to. In some ways like Salinger, Elissa brings back supporting characters from other short stories to serve as main narrators in related stories .Most impressive how author manages to create so many wonderful, complicated characters, each with its own unique voice that adds authenticity to each story.
