Although I thought Willow was a good romance read, the main character often irritated me in so many ways.
The one thing about Willow (the girl, not the book) that really ticked me off was the fact that she understood she should not be cutting and that everyone around her didn't want her to, but she still did it. To me it made no sense that a girl like her could think that.
Too often the book described the cutting of Willow a little TOO well, and I had to cover my mouth a little. I would not recommend this book to anyone who is sensitive to things like this.
The ending is a little confusing too, but it was still good. Her romantic interest, Guy, yes his name is guy, was very sweet and thoughtful, the perfect boyfriend. The fact that she pushed him away so many times makes your mind churn a little.
Other than that, the book was quite good when it came to romance. I would only recommend this book to people who are not as sensitive, and really love romance.
Congrats, Julia Hoban.
