I have to say that after having read and loved "That Boy" by Jillian Dodd, I was worried that I would not like "That Wedding" as much, especially because I usually prefer stand alone books with no sequels. Then to add to my doubts I'm not crazy about reading about weddings. I know that sounds strange but I had a beautiful fairy tale wedding and in my mind nothing can compare. So needless to say I was very sceptical about reading this book. The good news is that Jillian Dodd did not let me down. She has a way with words and her quirky characters are so endearing that who wouldn't want to read more? Though I will throw it out there that I still liked "That Boy" mainly for the wonderful love triangle that kept the reader guessing right up to the end. As for this book the banter back and forth regarding the hypothetical XXX-rated themed wedding was hilarious. It is rare that a book gets me laughing out loud but this one definitely did. It was also scrumptiously delicious to read about all of the crazy situations that Jayden, the lead female character manages to get herself into. Thanks Jillian - can't wait for your next book.
