I remember loving this book when I first read it years ago; but it no longer held the same appeal. The rolling descriptions that kept you captivated, making you feel like you were part of the book were missing.

It was still an interesting story, a man who due to a forgotten head injury from his youth and another head injury due to an accident is left in a coma for years. Although no one expects that he will ever regain consciousness, he does and after many surgeries and a great deal of physical therapy, he lives a somewhat normal life. Of course, there is a major change...the man now can see into the future.

Okay, this psychic ability is not something he can call into action, it just happens, making him somewhat a novelty to the press. But, when he sees a future catastrophe should an unlikely man become President of the United States, he is left to act on his own to stop this.....
