If this is a typical representative of (pardon my French) chick lit, then I don't have interest in such books. It's boring, full of cliches and painfully predictable. While I don't mind diving into a trash novel once in a while, there must be a driving element in the book: a character, a paradox, strong will to live, psychological clash, I don't know, something that made the book written. Ms. Evanovich has managed to concoct a book that has no reason to exist whatsoever.
