I loved this book. It was so heartbreaking and sad in the beginning. The mother, Sophie, a great actress, married a prince in Jaquir and thought she had the fairytale life until she couldn't produce a male heir. She was treated horribly. She fled finally with her daughter, only to be shunned by Hollywood and left to try and provide for her daughter. She dies a few years later and leaves her daughter, Adrianne.

Adrianne, so full of anger, decides for revenge against her so called father and it is sweet revenge literally! LOVED that he got what was coming to him. I also love that Adrianne met a good man, and used the money she got from stealing from her father to open a battered women and children's center.

This is a must read!
