This book is marketed as a paranormal romance, but don't let that fool you. The description on the back of the book doesn't do it justice. The world that this author creates is pretty incredible. The descriptions of the Nightwalkers, their powers, and their history provide a solid base for thi story and future ones. The plot isn't wrapped up completely, but it doesn't have a huge cliffhanger either. I didn't really have a problem with any of the characters except for Isabella. She's supposed to be this anti-social girl that's never had a date before, but her attitude doesn't quite match that description. You have to take the "Romance" part of the book with the cool fantasy/paranormal part of the book, but it's a great read.
