This is a good light read. I liked the believable characters although their interactions often was not realistic. But again this is a light read. The movement from wayward kids to responsible kids seemed a little to easy. While reading, I often thought this would make a great movie. Cletus the hog was quite a hoot. The ending seemed abrupt. Of course, this is Blessing #1 so the ending was a teaser for Blessing #2. I doubt if I will seek #2 but if I by chance come across it, I just might read it.
