it was amazing
bookshelves: comic, science-fiction

Best comic book series of the turn of the millennium? Or at least best semi-mainstream, semi-superhero comic book series of the turn of the millennium. Supberb. Ellis' finest, a gleeful, involved, involving riff on popular culture, pulp fiction and the history of comic books. All in the form of an action-packed, mysterios narrative made up of semi-stand-alone stories set all over the world, featuring super-powered individuals investigating the secret history of the world.
