Read in December, 2006

I liked this book. Of course, it is written by one of my favorite authors. It was published in 2006. Came out about Christmas Time. As the book jacket says, ". . . a yuletide yarn full of light celebration and dark mischief". It's only 198 pages long. There are 3 other books in what is termed as AP's Christmas novels: A Christmas Journey, A Christmas Visitor, and A Christmas Guest. A Christmas Secret is a small book, 7 1/2 by 5 1/2. A curate and his wife travel to a village in England to look after things while the village vicar is away for Christmas. The mystery proceeds from there. It is Anne Perry, so it is a murder mystery, but a gentle one. I liked this short story, hence it is in my library.
