Wow! Still in the middle of this book, but have learned so much
so far. Great information that explains a lot about composition of
different areas of the US. Going to use this in my citizenship for sure.
It is really exhaustive in presenting the information, so I find myself
skimming his third or fourth examples.

82840 I'm so glad you posted this, Sherri! It sounds really terrific. I just put it on my "books to read" list. It sounds like it could be a really interesting companion to reading southern literature like Faulkner or O'Conner, etc. I'm thinking about how I would use it in my own classes. Clearly, this book is very interdisciplinary!
