really liked it

Harriet Beecher Stowe paints character profiles in this story that will stay with the reader for a long time. This book is another great example of fiction that serves a grander purpose than just storytelling because it champions a cause. And today it represents how historical fiction should be done: to reveal through depth of character what life was like in the past. As a Christian I am always pleased to read a book that, while not advertised as Christian fiction, glorifies God through story.
