A very entertaining, fast-paced spy thriller - with a lot of the action taking place in Pakistan. Ignatius is a brilliant journalist who knows a lot about Central Asia and the US involvement over there (both overt and covert) - as such the book, while fiction, is very well researched and based in a very factual setting. I think the ending was a tad too convoluted, however...
