it was ok

OK, first the disclaimer: really liked this book, think Mortenson's vision is amazing, plan to support CAI etc. This *was* a very good book and much more readable than I expected. My problem, what made me reduce my rating, is that while I don't mind an agenda, the authors (I blame the Co-Author, David Oliver Relin) seemed really afraid the reader wouldn't get the point of how important this work is and felt the need to hit me over the head with it. And I really don't like books that start (and continue) with the assumption I'm stupid. Readers of this book are likely to be an intelligent, self-selecting lot, and don't need to be reassured on every page how important Greg Mortenson and his work in Pakistan and Afghanistan is.
