I'm pretty sure if I read this book again, it wouldn't resonate with me the same way it did the first time. Maybe I got more out of it then I should, but I found myself stacking up my friends to these girls, "who does that girl remind me of?" etc...truth be told we all know someone like these girls, they are little bits of them in every single one of us, and it's scary and dark and rightfully true.
I said earlier that; I found myself going "who does that girl remind me of" and stacking up my friends, but I found myself doing it another way as well, questioning where our I lye with them: would I do the same thing these girls did for each other? Would my friends do the same for me? Truth be told, yeah probably not.
It kind of reminds me 'lean on me' for young women, when the chips are down...are your bitches still by your side?
