This book is really interesting because it's about a family, who meet up with a tragedy. After Emily and Navin's father died, they and their mother move to an ancestral house of their great grandfather Silas Charnon. On the first night their mother gets kidnapped by a beast, and it is up to them to find their mother and master the Amulet which gives great power. They started wondering in a land somewhere in the center of the Earth. They escape warrior who wants the amulet with the help of a robot rabbit named Miskit. They go inside their great grand father's house. They find out that Silas is going to die. But before Silas died on his bed he told Emily that your the chosen one of this family, and you must master the amulet you where around your neck, it gives great power which can go back in time to their father, and once you have mastered this power, then you can save your mother from the beast. This book is good for anyone, it is a comic book. I rated this book 4 star because I found it really interesting about this girl named Emily, and her brother named Navin who go out on an adventure in the mysterious land.
