I started reading this book because I needed a fix after watching Downton Abbey and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. What I thought would be a book about rich Brits and their problems is actually a book that adheres to the "be mindful" concept in Buddhism. I liked that the message of the story is to live in the present and to understand the self.

The prose is lovely and the dialogue has a skillful way of revealing what happens while still not actually mentioning the What Happens directly. I only shorted this book one star because I thought the characters came together too coincidentally.
