In fact, that's a good description of the whole book. Based on a broadcast journalist "news of the weird" style segments, Way Off the Road gives you a glimpse -- about what you might see if you slowed down to not get caught in the speed trap or to grab a cup of coffee and a slice of pie.

I'm intrigued by a lot of the citizens therein, but I'd have liked to get to know them some.]]>
