Sunil So what is the deal with this book? I still have not experienced this John Green guy who fights nerds or whatever.

What the hell, this book is about two kids with cancer? It sounds horribly depressing.

Jessica John Green creates characters who are quirky and funny and you just wish you could hang out with them as they break into amusement parks or put on original musicals or go on a road trip to find some really hot girl or make ridiculous puns or play violent video games with a blind friend. Everything is hilarious and tragic mixed together. These are the friends I wish I had known in high school, iIntelligent, witty, obsessed with random things.

Yes, there is a fair amount of tragedy mixed in, but it is tempered with quite a bit of humor. Sad, yes, but not depressing.

Sunil I just read it! And now I want to read all his other books.
