it was amazing
bookshelves: roy-grace
Read from April 11 to 16, 2012

Having thought that the first Roy Grace was nothing special, I was pleasantly surprised by this one and now Roy Grace is definitely a series that I will be following avidly in the future.

Short and sweet chapters that keep flicking from different threads of the story but not so much that you've no idea what's going on is something that in authors I have read have failed to do but James seems to be old hat at.

A really innovative story line, in which Tom Bryce picks up a CD left behind on a train and out of curiosity looks at it on his computer and as a result is witness to a horrible murder. But it is not that simple, they can track his every move and they know when he's gone to the police and they will make him and his wife the next 'stars' if he doesn't keep quiet.
