This is the story of a woman whose dad dies, and the year after that. She wasn't very close with him, so she didn't think it'd affect her, but it did. In the subsequent year, she has to learn how to cope, deal with her life, and 'grow up.' This is set in england, and it was very reminiscent of Bridget Jones, only about more important subjects. Death, taking care of a parent, job, domestic violence... It was still chick lit-ish, but a more serious type. This is my second book by this author, Anna Maxted, and I've enjoyed both of her books. Read them.
