As a non-writer, I am finding it very difficult to come up with words strong enough to describe my reaction to this book. I have read all of this author's previous books and found them to be remarkable stories of compassion and love that reaches beyond the boundaries. But this book will take you on an emotional roller-coaster that doesn't stop until the final rush to the end.

From loneliness to love; from criticism to compassion; from funny to fear, this book has it all. I felt disgust and anger at the physical and emotional abuse of an innocent child and, at the same time, smiled and even laughed out loud at the antics of a beloved pet. I rode up the mountain with Ivorie and fought the desire to pull the trigger. I could feel her frustration at being passed over in the doctor's waiting room and even cheered for her budding romance.

I have never read another story that has left me pondering for so long after I finished the book. You will experience, first hand, all these emotions as you read The Good Dream and I recommend that you add this to your "must be read" booklist today.
