I absolutely loved this book. It is very simple, easy to read and comprehend. It is perfect for kindergarten. It shows that when you have faith in something and believe that something is going to happen eventually it will happen. Even though people keep telling you it wont, as long as you believe in something it will happen. In this book, that is the little boys mentality. Both his parents told him that the seed he planted was not going to grow, even his big brother. He didn't pay attention to what they said and still took care of the seed, until finally one day the seed did grow. The illustrations were simple, yet very descriptive.

The activity i would do for this book, is that i would have each kid plant a seed of their choice, and have them take care of it. This way i can also include some science in it.
