Latin America's answer to Kerouac, but with more soul. Bolanos work is a masterpiece of modern literature. Part travel logue, part adventure story and all heart. A wonderful cast of characters, all thrown together searching for the mother of Mexican poetry. I guarantee you read anything quite like it.

“There's a time for reciting poems and a time for fists. As far as I was concerned, this was the latter.”
