it was amazing
bookshelves: behavior, emotions, family

I really enjoyed this book! It introduces many vocabulary words to describe emotions. I like how it gives examples of events that could happen in order to cause a child to experience these specifi emotions. Those events are things that many children deal with on a regular basis. There are many rhyming words. The illustrations are kind of "busy", but relatable to children. There's even a face in the back of the book that allows you to experiment with different facial expressions and their meanings.

Extension Activity: Have some cutouts of facial expressions and the moods that they express. Each will be separated on two pieces of paper. Instruct the children to cut them out and match the facial expression with the emotion/mood on a chart.
