Completely Bourdain from start to finish. It's rather like having him join you for dinner and tell you a few stories, alternately bemoaning and poking fun at trends in the food industry and praising those hardy few who still "get it", refusing to sell out.
If you're unfamiliar with Bourdain's style and prefer the "f" bomb NOT be dropped every few sentences, you're best off leaving this one alone. For the rest of us however, it's full-on Tony -- rough edges, dry humor and delectable, food porn imagery.
It's best as a pick it up and put it down, take it in bits and bites sort of thing. Good for commuting, lengthy air travel or afternoons on the beach.
