Simply put this book was okay but not my favorite. While I do admire poetry and understand her love of Wordsworth I was distracted by the constant presence of him in the book.

At times I felt like I was reading things that she was writing from my memories of my own son, and other times it was enough to listen to the differences in our unique children. I do like her optimism about raising a child with special needs. My expectations we just set to high and while I'm sure I'll reread parts of it again I wish I'd saved the money on this one.
