really liked it
bookshelves: children-s-books, early-readers, own-hardcopy, read-children-s-book

This Dr. Seuss is aimed at earliest readers. Each page is a pair or trio of words that rhyme then strung into a usually rather silly sentence.

There is no plot or story. One page might be related to the next page, but a character, theme, or word rarely makes it further than that.

The illustrations are, as usual, very Seussian, fun, and silly. A great book for a child first learning to read. Most of the words are one or two syllables long.
