it was amazing
bookshelves: read-2012
Read from February 11 to May 31, 2012 — I own a copy

Rags to riches (with a dumbass wife in the middle). David (Doady... please) has a pretty tough life as a kid but he sticks with life and works his ass off to become a successful writer. Between all of that he meets some quirky, nice, assholes, and mentally challenged people that he must interact with... if not it wouldn't be much of a story, hey?

Uriah Heep... I'd have love to see him skinned and grilled over a slow cooker. But that would be for another writer to tackle. Dickens didn't go that far and it was still the 1800's.

I knew the ending around mid-way through the book... I just knew where Dickens was going with all of these people.

I want a friend like Dick. We'd make kites together.
