I read Bill Clegg's first memoir, Portrait of an Addict as a Young Man, as an ARC. It was powerful and honest, so naturally, when we received another book by him, I devoured it. Fair warning: This is possibly the saddest book I have ever read. It also contains a great deal of hope. If your life has been touched by alcoholism or addiction, read this book. The author's frank honesty and self-awareness will alter your view of everything.
