So the South was pretty fucking weird in the 30s, eh?

I kind of wish I could give 3 1/2 stars... I liked it, I think it's probably Great Literature, but it didn't grab me as much as I would have liked it to, especially after Light in August. I think I still need to read more Faulkner.
