Long Shadows (Warriors: Power of Three, #5)

** spoiler alert **
At first I was pretty skeptical of this--the beginning, where Thunderclan is stricken by greencough, just didn't feel like it was going to go anywhere significant, but luckily things picked up when Jaypaw has a vision of the past.
The twist at the end, involving the three's heritage? I definitely didn't see that coming, and I was happy to see that there can still be some excellent surprises in store in this series. I'm looking forward to the revelations in the next (I definitely have my suspicions as to who it'll be!).
The ending on this is such that I'm really glad I've waited so long to catch up on this series, since it would have been really frustrating to wait between the books to find out the answer to the parentage, as well as the murderer!
