liked it

I have to admit that I kind of idolized the guy. I actually got up in the middle of the night (I live in a different time zone from Cupertino) to watch a simulcast of him announcing a new product. Anyway, after reading this book, I still hold him in high esteem for his marketing genius but the shine definitely came off the icon when I realized what a colossal jerk he was. Some examples and passages in the book made me say "Really??" right out loud. The world is definitely a better place because of Steve Jobs but I don't know if I would really have wanted someone like him in my day-to-day life. I think this book is for the curious reader who would like to put a human personality and character to the iconic genius.
