Oh well how to review this book?! First of all i'm not going to describe how is this story, we already have other people who did this. So i'll jump for what matters.
We got to know Mitch in the first book of this series, and i really liked him. I was excited to know him better. And I'm not disapointed. Like a lot of people already said here, Mitch is one of the most sweet alpha males of KA books. He has all that alpha male style, but he is just more easy going. I loved him, but he is not my favorite.
Mara is great too. She's also not my favorite heroine, but she's good. Maybe she's one of the most insecure heroines of KA books. She's sweet, kind, strong and like KA loves to describe she's not a fighter, she's a survivor (the fithers are my favorites), but she's strong in her kind of way. She fights for what she wants, even when it is silly things that didn't matter at all, still... But her life wasn't easy, so she has a low self-esteem. Although i like the rating thing about her. She rates everybody and in a scale of 1 to 10 she thinks she's a 2.5. And Mitch 10.5. So see what i'm saying?! She thinks she doesn't deserve him and don't understand why he likes her.
All in all it was good. I loved the way Mitch stand up for her. How he took charge of her messed up life. How he treated her cousins,.
The romance was beautiful. It started diferent, because it was like they were playing house, you know!? They build a beautiful family together.
What i liked very much either is that they're not that old and with that they have baggage like in all the KA books, but in this one the baggage wasn't so big. I mean, there wasn't ex wife or ex husband and neither children of their own. They started a family for the first time. Witch is something that i really apreciate.
